Rack Centre, the West Africa’s Premium Data Centre has emerged as the winner of the Most Innovative Data Centre Technology Provider at the 2017 BusinessDay’s Top 25 most Innovative Companies and institutions Award.
BusinessDay, Nigeria’s leading Financial and Business daily chose Rack Centre for its “visionary stride in its state-of-the-art, Tier III certified data centre offering carrier neutral co-location services, which provides over 6,000 sqm (65,000 square feet) of energy efficient , connectivity and secure data centre space; is indeed ground-breaking innovation that has resulted, in no small measure, to making commercial and socio-economic impact, as well as value creation for clients and customers.”
BusinessDay’s Top 25 Nigeria’s Most Innovative Companies and Institutions in Nigeria Award honours organisations that have developed the most inventive and ground breaking products and services in the preceding year. “After an exhaustive research conducted by its research and intelligence unit, only 125 companies emerge as nominees in various categories on the basis that their ground breaking products and services which have resulted in transforming business models and, consumer markets and deployment of services facilitation in various ways.’’
It was from these 125 companies that 25 that were finally chosen. These 25 companies of which Rack Centre was one, said the newspaper, were recognised as ‘’ leading innovators and achievers spurring growth, development and creating new economic opportunities for citizens and communities as well as inspiring the new generation of innovators in shaping Africa’s future”
